Several final projects are offered for under graduate students (S1) with the topic “Digital Signal Processing (DSP) applications on ultrasonic Non Destructive Testing (NDT). The final objective of these final projects is an ultrasonic signal processing Matlab toolboxes. The tentatives titles are :
1. DSP Application on ultrasonic NDT based on wavelet transform
2. DSP Application on ultrasonic NDT based on Wiener filter
3. DSP Application on ultrasonic NDT based on Kalman filter
4. DSP Application on ultrasonic NDT based on Split Spectrum Processing
The general problem to be solved is the detection of ultrasonic signals buried in the noise. The material objects can be metals, ceramics, composites, concretes, rubbers or woods.
